How far in advance should I order my gowns?
Our gowns take around 2-3 months to be created. As a result, we recommend looking over our website and Instagram for inspiration and booking into our boutiques as soon as possible to allow ample time for your gown to be lovingly created before your wedding or function. We can work with rush time frames depending on availability and rush fees often apply.
How long do gowns take to create?
Our gowns and pieces take up to 2-3 months to be created We can work with rush time frames depending on stock availability and rush fees often apply.
What does made to order mean?
Made to order gowns are created specifically for you and generally take 3 months to create depending on the style. We recommend you come in a be fitted for the correct size.
Does your team do alterations in house?
We only do alterations in house for MMDesigns gowns that are made.
Can I customise or alter any of your designs?
Yes you can, we would love to work with you to create your dream dress.
What if my weight and measurements change before my wedding?
Your gown is made in the size or split size that was initially indicated to one day bridal at the time of purchase and cannot be changed thereafter. Whilst we are happy to offer advice where applicable, all alterations and changes to gowns will need to be arranged and orchestrated at the expense of the bride.
How do I care for my gown before and after the wedding?
Before your wedding, we recommend storing your gown bag in a cool, clean and dry environment. After your wedding, we recommend dry cleaning your gown with a dry cleaner who specialises in wedding gowns specifically. Within Victoria, Australia, we recommend Syndals Dry cleaning. If possible, we recommend purchasing a gown box to store your gown in. Ensure your gown box is then stored in a cool, dry and clean environment.
